The Yard Milkshake Bar is a unique milkshake locale that offers outrageously delicious treats that was originally established in 2017 by husband and wife team Logan and Chelsea Green in Gulf Shores, AL. Their distinctive concept of outrageously and delicious milkshakes has reached such a large popularity that their business has branched out into the franchise market.
The newest franchise location opened its doors on Memorial Day, 5/25/2020, in Georgetown, TX.
We sat down with the new franchisee owner, Cheri Johnson, to discuss her initial interest of opening up The Yard Milkshake Bar in Georgetown, TX.
“I’ve always loved Georgetown-it’s a beautiful town that’s growing by leaps and bounds, but still somehow has a small-town feel. I’ve also always thought it was a little light on different dessert options, too. When the spot at Wolf Crossing was available-surrounded by other restaurants with a great patio, it was too good to resist.”

Moreover, Cheri would like everyone to know,
“That we offer unique and fun over-the-top specialty shakes and sundaes, but also have bowls and cones for smaller appetites and budgets. We really have a tremendous selection, fabulous ice cream flavors including Vegan options, and made-in-house edible cookie dough. We cater to both tourists and locals, and there’s something for everyone. I think the locals will especially love our exclusive specialty shake, aptly named Greetings From Georgetown. Wait until you see it!”

More importantly, The Yard Milkshake Bar also caters to people with gluten- free and dairy-free diets.. When asked if the menu has selections for individuals with allergies or certain diets, she excitedly stated,
Yes! We have small-batch delicious Vegan/Lactose-free ice cream made with oat milk, as well as gluten-friendly items. In fact, we’ve added a new creation to our specialty menu called Not Milk? In addition to being Vegan and Lactose-free, it’s also delicious.
